Our aim at Whitney is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to introduce people to a personal faith in Him as Savior. We also strive to build deep and caring relationships with each other as we look for ways to bring the good news of the Gospel to the world. We invite you to join us as we worship God together and engage with sound teaching from His Word.

FAQs

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

We love having people visit Whitney!

Whether you are just passing through town, are new to the area, or are looking for a church to call home, we want to make your experience at church welcoming. Most of all, we look to Jesus and the truth of the Gospel as the greatest source of meaning, encouragement, and hope.

  • Our main Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and consist of worship music and teaching from God's Word. Music at Whitney is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Teaching at Whitney focuses on walking through a book of the Bible together. You can check out our current series here.
  • We have adult growth groups that meet Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for an interactive look at the Bible (check out all our growth groups throughout the week here).
  • Parking is available on the south side of the church with entrance through the double doors. There is also street parking on the north side of the church. Go through the gate and in through the double glass doors.

WHAT WILL MY KIDS EXPERIENCE?

Our children's ministry helps kids establish a foundation of faith and encourages each of them to share the hope of Jesus Christ through their love for Him and others.


We work hard to make our program welcoming, safe, and fun for kids. We offer nursery for newborns to age 2 and programs for ages 3 to 5th grade during our 10:30 service. Each classroom is staffed with two qualified children's ministry volunteers. You are welcome to keep your kids with you or enroll them in a class!

  • Nursery aged children (0-2 years old) can be checked in at the beginning of the main service; kids ages 3 through 5th grade are dismissed after worship songs during the service.
  • You can check your kids in at the table in the back of the auditorium. When you walk through the doors on the south side of the church, the check-in table will be to your left.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

The dress at Whitney is casual. You'll fit in wearing your Sunday best or jeans and flip flops!
